What is the difference between a "Care Provider" and a "Carer"?

"Care Providers" make money from the Government and are now mostly private profit makning companies...

£ made

"Carers" save the Government money. They give T.L.C. for free to the ones they love & save the Government around £87 billion per year!!!

Being a Care Provider is a great career and is both emotionally and financially rewarding.

Carer's are not recognised for the work they do and it can be emotionally, physically & financially draining. Becoming a Carer is easy - it's just a matter of circumstance, being in the right place at the right time.

This job description runs true for all full-time carers
who provide more than 35 hours care per week...

This site has been set up by a group of Carer's who are concerned about various issues. One thing that they all have in common as Carers is that they are not usually in a position to air their views about politics or social changes. They are usually too busy caring! They are not consulted over social changes which happen around them and effect them and those they care for directly. The idea behind this site is to provide a forum for Carer's, and enable them to engage more fully in any "decision making process" which affects them and those they care for. This site relies on your comments and ideas so please feel free to contact us.
